Welcome to the MedReleaf Telehealth Clinic!
We thought it would be helpful if we explained how the clinic operation works for patients in order to provide a seamless process for our patients. Every clinic varies in the way it may be run and in what they require so hopefully this article will assist in explaining what our requirements are and help provide some peace of mind by understanding what your experience with us will look like.
So how does MedReleaf Telehealth Clinic operate exactly?
At MedReleaf Telehealth Clinics, our top priority is patient healthcare and we strive to support your health concerns through safe and affordable plant-based medicine, to help restore your quality of life.
Our patients journey might look something like this:
- Book an optional and obligation free pre screening call to discuss your eligibility and have any of your questions answered.
- Booking your Telehealth consultation - this can be done online through our website or you can ask our clinic team to book you in at the completion of your pre-screening call.
- Doctor will assess your condition and current therapies you have tried in order to make an appropriate recommendation.
Is there anything required to be approved to see a doctor?
- There is a very simple eligibility criteria that our clinic will go through with you during their pre-screening call.
- A Medical Health Summary/referral from your GP OR a 12-month medication history from your pharmacy is also recommended and can be emailed to telehealth@medreleafclinics.com.au prior to your appointment.
So what happens after my consultation?
- Post consultation you will be required to complete payment. This is done through HotDoc by uploading your preferred payment method so our clinic team can process your card.
- Receive your e-script. Once payment has been processed, our clinic team will then email you your e-script. They can also email your e-script directly to your local pharmacy. You will then just have to coordinate with the pharmacy to pick up your medicines when they're ready.
- Take your e-script to ANY local pharmacy for dispensing within 48 hours. It's important to note that medicinal cannabis products are not stocked in most pharmacies, so your pharmacist may need to order it in.
- Book a review consultation for script repeats. The Doctor will assess your progress and make adjustments to your therapy as needed.
Hopefully this article helps and we look forward to seeing you in the clinic soon!

My usual Dr was away so medreleaf appointed a new doctor and he was very rude, he would not listen to me and then proceeded to cut my dose to a bare minimum. I am up to my 14th operation on my 2 broken legs. I also have a bone disease. They said to find another clinic if I’m not happy! I just want to be treated with dignity and respect. Dr Sikiru Abidemi needs to learn to speak slower, calmer and listen. He clearly has no experience with people in the real world. I hope MedReleaf take this seriously.
